Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Campsite Watch, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service description

Campsite Watch monitors selected campgrounds and dates for campsite availability and sends alerts when a potential match is detected. Availability can change quickly, and alerts may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable. Receiving an alert does not guarantee a reservation. Campsite Watch does not currently complete reservations on your behalf; you must verify availability and complete any reservation yourself.

Independent service

Campsite Watch is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Recreation.gov, Booz Allen Hamilton, the U.S. government, or any federal land-management agency.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current information.
• Maintaining access to the phone number and email address you provide.
• Verifying campsite availability and reservation details.
• Completing and paying for reservations yourself.
• Complying with Recreation.gov terms and all applicable campground rules.

SMS terms

Users opt in to SMS messages through the Campsite Watch website. Messages concern campsite availability and service-related information. Message frequency varies based on campsite availability and active watches. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Payments

Prices are displayed before purchase and may include a one-time fee for a specific campsite watch or other service. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Each fee applies only to the watch or service identified at checkout. Campsite Watch may change pricing for future purchases, but a change will not alter a completed purchase.

Refunds

Refund eligibility, if any, will be presented at checkout or determined under the refund policy in effect at the time of purchase. Nothing in these terms promises or guarantees a refund.

No guarantee

Campsite Watch cannot guarantee that a campsite will become available, that any notification will arrive at a particular time or at all, or that you will successfully reserve a campsite. Availability data and reservation systems may change without notice.

Third-party services

Campsite Watch may link to Recreation.gov or other third-party websites and services. Those services are operated independently and governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and practices. Campsite Watch is not responsible for third-party services.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Campsite Watch, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or related systems, circumvent security measures, or use the service for unlawful activity.

Disclaimer of warranties

Campsite Watch is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not limit any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Campsite Watch and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service—including missed reservations, delayed alerts, or third-party service failures. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Campsite Watch when we reasonably believe a user has engaged in abuse, fraud, unlawful conduct, or a violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post revised terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Campsite Watch after revised terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
